Do you sometimes feel the world is going to hell in a handcart? Are you filled with anxiety and dread every time you turn on the news, or do you not longer watch? Do you live with an underlying sense of unease which pervades your life, and long to be compassionate in the face of suffering but not to be so overwhelmed by it? This course in two parts – each 2 hours x 4 weeks – is an experiential exploration of how mindfulness can help us to find some peace within the storm of our lives, and perhaps even enhance the joy that lies just below the surface of everyday.
